Phew, these are further lousy values for the FDP: 41 percent of the people in Germany want the FDP not move into the Bundestag. This emerges from a current survey by the opinion research institute YouGov. However, 20 percent would like the FDP to make it into the Bundestag. 24 percent it doesn’t matter and 15 percent would not have given any information, it said.

According to the survey, older respondents also want more often than younger people that the FDP does not move into the Bundestag. 43 percent of the over 55-year-olds stated this in the survey, with the 25- to 34-year-olds 36 percent.

In the polls of various opinion research institutes, the FDP is currently four percent in the Sunday question and thus below the five percent hurdle, which is decisive for a move into the Bundestag in the election on February 23.

12,695 people were interviewed for the YouGov survey from February 7th to 9th, 2025. The results have been weighted and are representative of the German population from the age of 18.
