Olaf Scholz, Robert Habeck, Friedrich Merz or Alice Weidel? Who left the best impression on the TV Quadrell for the Bundestag election? The Forsa flash survey gives the answer.
Union Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz, according to the TV viewers’ views, has starRTL and NTV best beaten overall. 32 percent of the Forsa Forsa opinion research institute see the current opposition leader at the front. 26 percent think that Chancellor Olaf Scholz did the best figure in the exchange of blows.
At a distance, Merz is ahead of the question of whom the Germans are most likely to trust. Green Chancellor candidate Robert Habeck is even behind AfD top candidate Alice Weidel.
Even in terms of competence and credibility, Merz was able to convince most of the representative respondents.
Only in one category Friedrich Merz has to fight against a competitor. 23 percent consider him the most likeable of the participants, Robert Habeck is ahead with 34 percent.
The partly heated debate has changed the election decision in ten percent of the respondents, and largely has no effect on voting behavior.
Notes: The Forsa opinion research institute has on behalf of RTL for the representative survey in 2004 voters who are entitled to vote. Transparency note: The star is part of RTL Germany.
