The situation in the morning: Markus Lanz has to calm guest and admonish
The ZDF talk show by Markus Lanz is often high. It rarely becomes as heated as in the early Thursday morning. Read what else is important today.
Today the high phase of the carnival begins with the women’s fast night. After the attacks in Munich and in other places, one or the other could also feel a bit queasy.
In social networks, Islamists have called for attacks in the Cologne Carnival. However, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) calms down: These are “propaganda publications”, it currently sees no concrete hazard. Bodo Ramelow with Markus Lanz without age mild
Markus Lanz’s program is high on Wednesday evening. In addition to two journalists such as Wolfgang Kubicki (FDP) and Bodo Ramelow (Die Linke), two journalists are also guests at the moderator. He is one of the three “silver curls” of the left and has made a decisive contribution to the success of his party in the federal election.
Wolfgang Kubicki, the 72-year-old FDP veteran, initially surprises with self-reflection: “I know that I am not the future of the party.” But Kubicki would not be Kubicki if he did not relativize and hand out in his next sentences. Ramelow: “Yes, what now?” Lanz: “Think of your blood pressure. We also like ourselves. I appreciate her over everyone.” Ramelow still says he is looking forward to the liquorice afterwards. Lanz promised him beforehand. However, the moderator no longer gets an answer.
