The former Wirecard board member Jan Marsalek still keeps the judicial authorities in suspense. Now three defendants were convicted in London. They are said to have spied on Marsalek.
In a spy of the espionage for Russia, two women and a man from Bulgaria were guilty in London. They presumably acted on behalf of ex-wirecard board member Jan Marsalek, as reported by the Pa news agency. They face prison terms of up to 14 years. The sentence is to be announced.
Marsalek acted as an intermediary between the Russian secret service and the leader of the spy. The ex-wirecard sales board has been submerged since the bankruptcy of the former Dax group and is suspected in Russia. In the London trial, Marsalek was not accused of.

The accused aged 33, 30 and 39 were guilty of espionage, life and national security. People and places that are interesting for Russia are said to have been spied on. In Germany, for example, this was an air force base and an unadorned message.
The espionage activities are said to have taken place in London as well as in Stuttgart, Vienna, Valencia and the Balkan state of Montenegro. For this, the accused received considerable sums of money, the prosecutor said in the course of the trial. Two other Bulgarians were guilty of the espionage, and there was no longer a process against them.
