The Ukrainian President Selenskyj pulls sad weekly record of Russian attacks out of the air, which often also hit civilians. He links this with a claim.
The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj called for more than 2,100 Russian attacks from the air to further support his country after a week. Russia dropped almost 1,200 lubricating bombs during the period, plus 870 combat drones and 80 missiles, he said in Ukraine, he said on Telegram.
He recalled that Russian weapons are often made with foreign components. It is therefore necessary to better implement the existing sanctions in order to prevent Russia from further destroyed Ukraine. Ukraine also works to strengthen its air defense.
Russia has been waging a war against its neighbor for three years. Not only goals on the front, but also civilian objects in the hinterland are hit. While the figures published by Selenskyj are a slight decline in the previous week – at that time there were 2,300 attacks out of the air – the number of rocket attacks quadrupled.
