In May 2024, a furniture store in Lithuania caught fire. The cause remains unknown at first. Now the authorities have determined that Russia’s henchmen is probably behind it – and raise indictment.
Lithuania’s judicial authorities assume that Russia will be on an IKEA institution in Vilnius behind an arson attack carried out last year. The investigation had shown that the two people arrested in the case on behalf of the Russian military secret service, said the Attorney General of the Baltic EU and NATO country in Vilnius. It was now charged with a suspected terrorist attack.
The fire in the furniture store broke out on the night of May 9, 2024. Nobody was injured. The security authorities later expressed suspicion of arson in the course of the investigation.
