US government is considering a flat-rate entry bans
Trump had already imposed an entry ban on the USA during his first term. Now his government is apparently considering such a ban on which there should be three categories.
According to a media report, the government of US President Donald Trump is considering a flat-rate entry ban, as in his first term.
As the “New York Times” reported on Friday, citing government circles, a list of 43 countries was created, for which varying entry restrictions are to apply. A flat -rate entry ban should therefore apply to people from the following states:
- Afghanistan
- Bhutan
- Iran
- Yemen
- Cuba
- Libya
- North Korea
- Somalia
- Sudan
- Syria
- Venezuela
These countries are on a red list.
Entry USA: Trump’s red, orange and yellow prohibition list
According to the report, the report is to be severely restricted for people from ten countries on an orange list. Accordingly:
- Belarus
- Eritrea
- Haiti
- Laos
- Myanmar
- Pakistan
- Russia
- Sierra Leone
- South Sudan
- Turkmenistan
Immigration or tourist visa should no longer be awarded to people from these countries, as the “New York Times” reported. Only “wealthy business travelers” should therefore be allowed to enter the United States – but you have to undergo a personal conversation before granting a visa.
According to the report, 22 other countries should be set on a yellow list. These states should therefore get 60 days to clear up the US government. Otherwise, they should be sorted into the red or orange list.

Already in the first term of trump entry ban
As the newspaper wrote, citing non-mentioned government agents, the list was created by the US State Department several weeks ago. The white house will probably still make changes.
In his first term from 2017 to 2021, Trump imposed an entry ban for people from the majority of Muslim countries. The decree, which originally affected Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Syria, had been blocked several times by the US judiciary. Iraq and the Sudan were quickly painted off the list. A final version, which also contained North Korea and Venezuela, was finally approved by the Supreme Court.
