Secretly tested, now reveals: US President Trump announces a new fighter jet. Boeing secures the armor order. Many details remain secret – but the promises are great.
US President Donald Trump is launching the construction of a new combat jet. “Nothing in the world only comes close to him,” said the Republican in the White House. The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing received the order for this fighter jet of the sixth generation. A fleet should be built in the coming years, said Trump.
Currently, the F-22 and F-35 are the most modern operational fighter jets in the United States, they belong to the fifth generation. The F-22 is no longer produced, but is still in service to the Air Force.
The new fighter jet should bear the name F-47. Trump is the 45th and 47th President of the United States. The F-47 fight jet “will be the most advanced, capable and fatal aircraft ever,” said Trump. A prototype of the aircraft has been “secretly in the air” for almost five years.
The development of the jet was a big secret – for reasons of confidentiality, you don’t want to reveal too much about the F -47, according to Trump. US defense minister Pete Hegseth said: “This is a historical investment in the American military.”
The award decision is a victory for the economically battered Boeing Group. The F-35 jets are produced by the competing armaments group Lockheed Martin.
