Germany approves billions for Ukraine

The Bundestag’s budget committee had previously approved a long controversial billion-dollar package for Ukraine. The package is about an additional 3 billion euros for this year and up to 8.3 billion euros for 2026 to 2029. There had been long conflicts before the Bundestag election.

U.S. President Donald Trump had confirmed his goal of wanting to solve the conflict after talks with Selenskyj and Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin.
