According to a media report, around 30 people were killed in new Israeli attacks in the south of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported various attacks through drones in the area of ​​Rafah and Chan Junis. Among other things, houses and a vehicle were attacked.

The Israeli army had previously warned residents of the Tal Al-Sultan district in Rafah that the military would “start an offensive against terrorist organizations”. People were called to flee from the combat area. On social media, videos of people who are heavily packed on foot and sometimes heavily packed – even with small children – fled from Rafah.

The Israeli Air Force had recently resumed its bombing in the Gaza Strip, after which ground inserts started again. Since then, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, including women and children.

Brokers had previously failed to extend the ceasefire that had been met since mid -January. Israel’s goals are the liberation of the hostages remaining in the Gaza Strip and the destruction of the terrorist organization Hamas.
