In a memorable TV interview, Donald Trump shared row: he rages against Putin, threatens Iran with bombs-and openly flirts with a third term as US president.
US President Donald Trump has underpinned his possible ambitions for a third term-although the US constitution only allowed two terms. In a telephone interview with the NBC news station led on Sunday, Trump said to a question: “I’m not joking”. There are “methods” with which a third term could be possible.
Trump had already fan publicly with a third term in the past few months. In January he said he did not know whether he was prohibited from a new candidacy for the presidency. The “New York Times” also reported that Trump had already said in front of Congress members in November that he would probably not run again – “unless she tells me: ‘He is so good that we have to find a way'”.
Donald Trump is “pissed off” on Putin and threatens to do oil-tariffs
So that’s not enough. According to his own statements, Trump is “pissed off” on Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin – but also announced another conversation with the Russian president for the coming days. “I was very angry and pissed off when Putin was about the credibility of Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj Herzog and began to talk about a new tour in Ukraine,” he said in the NBC interview.
Trump also threatened to occupy the buyers of Russian oil with punitive tariffs. This could make export more difficult and reduce his foreign exchange income. Russia’s large customers include India and China – new tariffs would probably lead to great economic faults.
Trump left open when he wanted to talk to Putin again. Most recently, they had called on March 19. The part of the NBC interview on Putin was posted by an account of the White House on the platform X.
The NBC jounalist Kristen Welker reported that Trump called her and made his anger clear. If he could not reach an agreement with Russia about the end of the bloodshed in Ukraine, “and if I believe that it was Russia’s fault – which may not be the case – but if I think it was Russia’s fault, then I will raise secondary dulls on oil, everything that comes from Russia”.
The tariffs would therefore be 25 percent and could come at any time. Trump had recently announced so -called secondary tariffs against Venezuela. This punitive tariff is said to pay every country that draws oil or gas from Venezuela.
Threat against Iran: “If you don’t do a deal, then there will be bombing”
In addition, the US President threatened Iran with “bombing” if there is no agreement in the dispute over the Tehrans nuclear program. “If you don’t do a deal, there will be bombing,” said Trump in the NBC conversation. At the same time, he threatened new economic punitive measures and customs requirements.
The western states have accused Iran for years to strive for the construction of nuclear weapons. Tehran denies this. However, the country has strengthened its production of enriched uranium in recent years.
Who has that stuff to the Trump fright?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
The still young MP with Puerto-Rican roots could use the headlessness of her party to get rid of her label as an eternal talent. At first glance, it is finally the ideal face for a democratic reorganization.
But at the veneration that AOC enjoys under progressive, there is a lack of the entire political residual spectrum. Also in your own party. The 35-year-old, who describes himself as a democratic socialist, is too extreme to most moderate Democrats. Their appearance is too aggressive, their views hardly majority capable. If she wants to be more than a popular marginal phenomenon, she wants to take the role of the reconciler, she has to take a precisely measured step towards the middle – just as far as to be taken seriously without stringing up her fan base. A feat.

Trump, according to his own statements, had proposed negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program in a letter to the spiritual head of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Chamenei in a letter to the spiritual head of Iran. At the same time, the US President threatened to intervene militarily in this letter. Iran should not have nuclear weapons, he had explained.
According to Iran, Iran reacted to Trump’s letter last Thursday. Nothing became known about the content of the answer. The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtschi had previously stated his willingness to negotiate with the United States for indirect negotiations.
In 2015, Tehran signed an agreement with the West, which provided for the loosening of sanctions in return for containing the Iranian nuclear program. During the first presidency of Trump, the United States retired one -sidedly from the agreement in 2018. Efforts to revive the nuclear agreement has failed since then.
