SPD boss: Pistorius Minister of Defense
What is the most popular politician in Germany? His party leader makes it clear how much he thinks of Boris Pistorius.
Is Boris Pistorius also in a new Federal Government Minister of Defense? SPD leader Lars Klingbeil considered him an excellent choice. “I have already made it publicly clear: We are very, very happy that Boris Pistorius is there in our team,” said Klingbeil in the ARD program of Caren Miosga. “He is an excellent Minister of Defense.”
When asked whether he wanted Pistorius Defense Minister, Klingbeil said: “Said these sentences, everyone can now think of the rest. But we are glad that Boris Pistorius is with us.”
Klingbeil also defended his co-party leader Saskia Esken against public criticism. The 47-year-old emphasized that he thinks that unfair.
