CDU, CSU and SPD want to make a breakthrough for their desired coalition this week. Among other things, it is about difficult financial issues – are the three parties go ahead?
Union and SPD want to continue their coalition negotiations in smaller rounds. This Tuesday, sub -work groups are to advise on topics such as finance, as it was said from negotiating circles. Previously, the main negotiating group with 19 leading representatives of the CDU, CSU and SPD had come together at the CDU headquarters in Berlin. The round ended in the evening.
This week, the three parties want to look for solutions for numerous open questions and issues as well as for the financial framework of a government program. The greatest sticking points are the federal finances, tax and economic policy as well as ways to contain illegal migration. The results of 16 working groups are the basis of the consultations.
