The oil tanker “Eventin”, which had been resolved in the Baltic Sea in the Baltic Sea in front of Rügen, was secured and confiscated by German customs. “With the confiscation, the prerequisites for recycling the ship and the load are created,” said a spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Finance. A change of crew has already taken place. Supplementary information is currently not yet possible due to continued customs law measures, it said.

Already in February “Der Spiegel” reported that the ship was confiscated, including the load. The ministry spokesman did not want to confirm that at the time.
