Larger demos planned against Trump government
For a long time, some Americans took Donald Trump silently. After its customs package, however, more resistance is now formed. It should start on Saturday.
Ten weeks after President Donald Trump took office, larger protests against his government are planned in Washington and numerous other cities in the USA this Saturday. The organizers expect tens of thousands of participants nationwide. The largest rally is to take place in Washington.
The demonstration in the US capital is planned on the Washington Monument near the White House. “Donald Trump and (tech billionaire) Elon Musk believe that the country belongs to them. They take everything they can get their hands on,” says the call to the protests under the banner “Hands Off!” (Hands off). According to the “Axios” news page, the speakers in Washington include several MPs from the Democrats.
So far few large rallies against Trump
So far, there have been few large rallies in the United States against the Trump government’s policy revolving the whole country. At the end of March there were several protests against Trump consultant Musk, who drives massive reduction programs and job cancellations, for example, in ministries with the Sparbeium Doge. Even thousands of scientists had already protested in Washington against cuts and the government they perceived as hostile to science.
