Refugees in the Gaza Strip demonstrate against Hamas
After a year and a half war, people in the Gaza Stripes against the rulers. Hamas are terrorists. But the protest was not just against them.
Several hundred Palestinians demonstrated in the Jabalija refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip for an end to the war with Israel. Many of them protested against the Islamist Hamas, which they blamed for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the large -scale coastal area. On posters and speech choirs it said, among other things: “Hamas is terrorism!”
Other posters and slogans were full of anger on Israel, to which the deliberate bombing of residential areas was accused. The blockage of the area for aid deliveries imposed at the beginning of March was also protested.
Gaza war lasts one and a half years
The Gaza War triggered the unprecedented massacre on October 7, 2023, in which Hamas terrorists and other Islamists killed around 1,200 people and dragged more than 250 more from Israel into the Gaza Strip.
Israel reacted with massive air raids and a soil offensive with the aim of smashing Hamas. According to the health authority controlled by the Hamas, several ten thousand people were killed. Hamas does not differentiate between fighters and civilians. According to Israeli information, around 20,000 terrorists were killed in the Gaza War.
