Russian drones meet port city of Odessa

Once again, Russian drone swarms are on the road over Ukraine. The first goal is the port city of Odessa. The residents of other cities hope for the all -clear soon.
The Russian army attacked the South Ukrainian port city of Odessa with combat drones at night. According to the regional military administrator Oleh Kiper, several residential buildings were met. A fire broke out in one. “Information about possible victims is still clarified,” Kiper wrote on the Telegram platform. Warehouses were also damaged in the port, said Mayor Hennadij Truchanow.
Air alarm was triggered in the capital Kyiv and a number of other Ukrainian cities at night. According to the air defense, larger floors had flown into the Ukrainian airspace. There were initially no further information on possible goals of the combat drones.
Russia attacks Ukraine with so-called Kamikaze drones. The attacks are usually done at night to make the aim of visualizing the goals more difficult. In addition, the civilian population is surprised by the nightly attacks in their sleep.
