Comparison with Russian national hero – Putin praises Musk
Praise from unusual place: Wladimir Putin apparently thinks a lot of tech billionaire Elon Musk. He compared it to a Russian national hero.
Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the US billionaire Elon Musk as a pioneer in space. Musk’s ideas are “just like the ideas of (Sergej) Korolew, of our pioneers,” Putin said on Wednesday in front of students of a Moscow university. “This kind of people are not often in the human population.” Korolew was a Soviet rocket scientist and is considered the father of the USSR space program.
