Habeck had led the Greens into the Bundestag election in February as the top candidate. According to the losses for his party, he had already stated that he was no longer striving for leadership role in the Greens. The ministerial office leads Habeck continued until the new Kabinetts, probably from the Union and SPD, continues to be managing more – the swearing -in is planned for the beginning of May. Habeck has been in the Bundestag since 2021.
