The Redstift is now being used in the US State Department. The head of the head considers his ministry to be bloated. According to the media, departments that deal with war crimes are affected.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced a comprehensive restructuring of his “bloated” ministry. Rubio said that unnecessary offices would be abolished and programs that did not match the national core interests of America and were not required by law.
“In its current form, the ministry is inflated, bureaucratic and unable to fulfill its essential diplomatic mission in this new era of the competition of the great powers,” he continued.
The broadcaster CNN reported that this was the first phase of restructuring. According to a high -ranking official and documents, more than 130 departments in Germany and around 700 jobs in Washington are affected. The offices that are to be closed include those that deal with war crimes and global conflicts.
The “Washington Post” reported that the plan stipulates that high -ranking civil servants should propose how they can reduce the staff in the United States by 15 percent. A draft also intended to close the entire department for Africa and to close numerous representations on the continent, the newspaper reported. However, this had been denied by Rubio.
Under US President Donald Trump, tens of thousands of employees have already been released in many ministries and authorities, and the Ministry of Development has been practically dissolved. The international development agency USAID was smashed and the remains of the Foreign Ministry was affected.
