On February 6, a draft of a new procedure, according to which decisions should be made on the undesirability of the stay of a foreign citizen on the territory of Russia, was published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The document clarifies the previously adopted government decree and is one of the components of the migration policy reform.
Thus, the department proposed to cancel temporary restrictions on making a decision on declaring the stay in the Russian Federation of a foreign citizen as undesirable, as well as an indication of the need to take into account the presence of such a citizen of close relatives with Russian citizenship.
