Trump announces construction work on the White House – and wants to pay himself

The US flag that blows on the roof of the White House probably knows each of pictures. Soon two more flags are to be added to the US president’s office. Donald Trump has announced that they had two flagpoles built on the site.

The president chose the locations together with employees. One should stand on the North raset, the other on the south side. “It took you a flag mast for 200 years,” said Trump in front of reporters. “I often said you need a flag mast.” Now the 78 “two beautiful flag masts” wants to be set up.

Trump also flirts with an extension to the east wing of the White House, where First Lady Melania Trump has her office. A luxurious, 60 meter long ballroom is to be built there. The costs for this: around $ 100 million.
