Selenskyj accuses Russia of North Korean rocket
A devastating Russian attack demanded many victims in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The rocket used should not come from Russian production.
According to the first Ukrainian findings, Russia used a ballistic rocket from North Korean production in a fatal attack on the capital Kiev. “If the information about the production of this rocket in North Korea is confirmed, this will become further evidence of the criminal alliance of Russia and Pyongyang,” wrote President Wolodymyr Selenskyj on Telegram. The Ukrainian secret services would check all the details. So far, the information on the origin of the rocket is still temporary.
In the morning, at least a dozen people were killed in a combined attack by drones and rockets on the three million city. Around 90 were injured.
Ukraine has been fighting against a Russian invasion with western help for more than three years. Kyiv regularly calls on allied states to strengthen Ukrainian air defense through further deliveries.
