President Trump’s US government is driving a tough course against illegally traveled migrants. Now the Federal Police FBI raises accusations against a judge – and takes them into custody.
The FBI temporarily arrested a judge in the US state of Wisconsin-she is accused of having helped a migrant without a valid papers. There is evidence that the judge wanted to prevent the arrest of a migrant, wrote FBI director Kash Patel on the platform X. After a first hearing, the judge initially came to the open foot, as the “Washington Post” reported.
The arrest of a judge is a further escalation in the government of President Donald Trump with the judiciary about deportations. “Nobody is above the law in this country,” US Justice Minister Pam Bondi defended the procedure in an interview with Fox News. “She put the life of our law enforcement officers in danger, (…) that of our citizens.” This behavior is not tolerated – no matter who it is, Bondi continues.
In Patel’s post it was said about the allegations against the judge: “Fortunately, our agents pursued the perpetrator on foot and since then he has been custody, but the judge’s disability has led to an increased danger to the public.” The regional newspaper “The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel”, citing authorities, reported that judge Hannah Dugan had been arrested in the court on Friday at around 8:00 a.m.). Accordingly, your disability of the investigation and hidden is accused of a person.
The newspaper wrote which person was not yet informed of which person it was. However, it can be assumed that it was an immigrant from Mexico who had an appointment in court for a criminal complaint last week.
