For the third time since the fire break came into force with Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force attacks a destination in Beirut. As before, the attack against the Proiran Hezbollah militia is directed.
Tel Aviv (Beirut) – According to a military spokesman, the Israeli Air Force attacked a building in a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut on Sunday evening. There were precision rockets from the proiran Hezbollah militia, it said. The storage of rockets there represents a blatant violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon, according to the spokesman.
The air raid was preceded by an Israeli warning in Arabic to the population in the attack area. According to the first Lebanese information, no people died in the attack. However, great damage to property occurred.
According to Israeli media reports, it was the third Israeli air raid in Beirut since the fire break in Lebanon came into force last November.
Also on Sunday, the Israeli military reported on the killing of a Hezbollah official in the South Libanon in a drone attack. The man had driven the Hisbollah’s attempts to build up the militia structures again in the region.
