The government has “credible intelligence information”, which said that India wants to do a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours, “said Pakistan’s Minister of Information Attafullah Tahar on Wednesday morning. The Indian government wanted to use the fatal attack in the Pahalgam holiday destination in Kaschmir as “pretext”, added Tahar.

The minister warned the neighboring country of a Pakistani counter -strike. “Every act of aggression will be answered with a determined reaction,” he wrote. For all “bad consequences in the region”, India “will be fully responsible”.

Indian army reports again with Pakistani soldiers

The Indian army, however, reported the sixth night in a row between Pakistani and Indian soldiers on the demarcation line in Kashmir on Wednesday morning. The army announced that there were shots from small weapons without providing information.

The Pakistani military did not confirm the information, but the state radio in Islamabad reported on Tuesday that an Indian drone had been shot down.

Previously, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given his army in the controversial Kashmir region. At a meeting with army cheers, Modi said that the army had “complete operational freedom in the decision about the way, the goals and the time of our answer to the terrorist attack on civilians in Kashmir,” the AFP news agency learned on Tuesday from government groups in New Delhi.

26 people were killed in the terrorist attack in Kashmir

The Kashmir region in northern Himalaya, which is mostly inhabited by Muslims, has been shared in 1947 since India and Pakistan’s independence. Both countries claim the area completely and have already led two wars to control the mountain region.
