No more “Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht” – what should the BSW be called in the future?
BSW without Sahra Wagenknecht? The founder wants to change the name of her party. But what should it be called in the future? The star-Inaction would have some suggestions.
In some quiet minute, Sahra Wagenknecht may think: “Oh man, what was that for a year?” Exit from the left, founding of the BSW, successes in the state elections in the east. Then the sudden crash, the young “Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht” missed moving into the Bundestag.
In the end there were rather negative headlines around the BSW. There was read about “power struggle” between Wagenknecht and her Thuringia boss Katja Wolf. There was resentment that new party members are still being handpicked, and that the namesake from Berlin repeatedly interfered in state politics.
If you can call it that, Wagenknecht has lost the power struggle against Wolf. However, it does not see the reason of personnel consequences on its own behalf. “I want this project to survive,” she said in the “Maischberger” talk show.

Nevertheless, she made two surprising and vague statements: she would “no longer continue” and the party will be renamed this year. She didn’t go into it any closer.
Either way: the BSW must be prepared for a time to Sahra Wagenknecht – at least based on the party name.
