There are always reports of drone flights near sensitive facilities. The Bundeswehr in Lower Saxony was such an incident – the state protection was determined.
The state safety of the police has investigated the possible drone flights over a Bundeswehr radio system in Lower Saxony. The incident was in the area of the Saterland/Ramsloh Marine radio station in the Cloppenburg district, a spokeswoman for the Leer/Emden police inspection said on request. WDR and NDR had previously reported on Tagesschau.de.
In Ramsloh there are 350 meters high transmission masts that produce radio traffic to NATO u-boats. According to the police spokeswoman, a security guard of the Bundeswehr had found three people and a van outside the fence of the facility. The people were associated with drone overfours. After consultation with the public prosecutor, no criminal behavior was determined. The people have not yet been identified.
Report: Men spoke Russian
According to the report by WDR and NDR, the unknowns are said to have controlled several drones, including a strikingly large one. The wax soldier spoke to the people who are said to have answered something in Russian. The military shielding service and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution have also started investigations.
