Kamala Harris sharply criticizes Donald Trump for his political agenda and accuses him of abuse of power. But it encourages the Americans to resist.
The former US vice president and democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris sharply criticized US President Donald Trump.
At an event in San Francisco, Harris said on Wednesday (local time), Trump is currently quickly implementing a “program that has been prepared for decades”, a “narrow -minded, selfish vision of America, in which those who say the truth are preferred, is preferred, abuse of power and everyone is left to themselves”.
Harris continued to be behind the “apparent chaos” of the first few months of Trump’s second term. She also said: “A program for reducing public education. A program for reducing the state and privatization of its services. And all of this, while the richest tax relief are granted.”
Harris encourages the Americans to fight Trump’s agenda
According to the news agency “Instead of a government that is committed to the highest ideals of America, we experience a complete departure from these ideals.”
On Wednesday in San Francisco, she performed at an organization to promote women who want to run for the Democratic Party for Political Office. In a 15-minute speech, she addressed the fears and confusion that many of her followers have grown since Trump’s taking office, but warned to hope.
“They rely on the fact that if they can scare some people, they will have a deterrent effect on others. However, what they have overlooked is that fear is not the only thing that is contagious,” said Harris. “Courage is contagious.”

“I’m not here tonight to give all the answers,” said Harris. “But I am here to tell you the following: You are not alone and we all face this challenge together.”
Kamala Harris runs as a governor?
It was the democrat’s first major speech after her defeat in the US presidential election in November. After her clear defeat against Trump, Harris had initially held back publicly. Before Wednesday, Harris Trump had hardly mentioned by name since her defeat in November.
According to observers, the 60-year-old is currently considering a candidacy for the governor in her home state of California, and the election will take place in 2026. In addition, Harris is flirting with another candidacy for the US presidential election in 2028-after her failed attempts in 2020 and 2024.
In her future, Harris did not comment on her speech on Wednesday.
