In a few days, a large parade in front of numerous guests of the victory against Nazi Germany is to be thought of in a few days. Ukraine sends drones again towards the Russian capital.
A few days before the commemorative celebrations in Moscow, Russia reports new drone attacks on its capital in World War II. At least 18 unmanned flight objects were headed from various directions to Moscow and shot down by the anti -aircraft forces, Mayor Sergei Sobjanin said on Tuesday night on Telegram. A drone ruin fell on a highway. So far, however, there have been no reports of serious damage or injuries.
In addition, the authorities said that Ukrainian drones were intercepted over the Woroneesch and Pensa areas. From there, too, neither damage nor injuries were reported.
For security reasons, air traffic on the four Moscow airports Scheremetjewo, Domodedowo, Wnukowo and Schukowski was temporarily stopped, as the Russian news agency TASS reported, citing the Rosawiazija aviation authority. In addition, air traffic was also stopped at the airports in Kaluga (around 200 kilometers southwest of Moscow), Saratow (around 850 km southeast of Moscow) and Volgograd (around 1,000 kilometers southeast of Moscow).
The Russian authorities had already reported a Ukrainian drone attack on Monday. The information can hardly be checked independently.
On May 9, Russia celebrated the day of victory over Nazi Germany 80 years ago. Many foreign guests are expected at the parade in Moscow, including Chinese head of state XI Jinping.
Selenskyj for 30-day ceasefire
Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin had ordered a three-day ceasefire in the Ukraine War around the date that is celebrated in Moscow with a military parade. However, Ukraine considers this to be a deception. Kiev demands that the weapons should be silent at least 30 days as an introduction to a possible further solution to terminate the Russian war of aggression. Russia rejects this.
Meanwhile, Ukraine also reported a Russian drone attack on the city of Charkiw. A residential building is on fire, said Mayor Ihor Terechow on Telegram. At first there was no information about possible victims.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion for more than three years. The defenders always attack goals in the neighboring country. The victims and damage of their counterattacks are in no way in relation to the devastating consequences of the Russian war of aggression on the Ukrainian side.
