Migration: Media: USA want to deport migrants to Libya

According to media reports, the US government plans to deport migrants to Libya. When asked about such plans, US President Donald Trump answered: “I don’t know. Please have to ask the Ministry of Homeland Protection.”

The broadcaster CNN reported that a group of illegal migrants should be flown out into the civil war country with a military aircraft. The “New York Times” and the broadcaster NPR also reported appropriate plans. The “New York Times” reported that the plans would match the government’s deterrent efforts, which have already deported migrants to a notorious high -security prison in El Salvador.

The Prime Minister of the government recognized by the United Nations in Tripolis, Abdel Hamid Dbaiba, said that Libya rejected it to take up deported migrants. All agreements that had been made with “illegal circles” do not represent the Libyan state.

A civil war broke out in Libya after the fall of the long-term ruler Muammar al-Gaddafi in 2011. To date, countless militias are fighting for influence and resources. The conflict is exacerbated by the influence of other countries such as Russia and Turkey.
