Kyiv and Moscow complain about violations of ceasefire

On the occasion of the day of victory in World War II, Russia declared a ceasefire that officially did not agree to Ukraine. The warring parties accuse each other.

According to Kyiv, Russia does not comply with the specially explained ceasefire. “Russian forces continue to attack our military data for the entire front line,” wrote the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrij Sybiha on the platform X. Overall, the Russian military has violated more than 700 times against the ceasefire.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claimed that the Russian army strictly adhered to the fire break and only react to Ukrainian attacks.

The Ministry in Moscow continued to say that there was an attempted Ukrainian breakthrough in the Russian area of Kursk. The Russian military also complained about 488 Ukrainian violations of the ceasefire, although the lead in Kiev had not publicly approved her. There were attacks with drones and artillery, it was said in Moscow with a view to reports that the Ukrainian armed forces also received an order for a ceasefire from Kiev.

The ceasefire scheduled by Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin until May 10th came into force at midnight (11:00 p.m. CEST). The fire break should apply 72 hours until Saturday at midnight. It covers the days when Russia is reminiscent of Nazi Germany and the end of the Second World War in 1945.

Kyiv informs allies about breaking the ceasefire

Kiev share his information about Russian violations of the ceasefire with the USA, the EU partners and other organizations, said Minister Sybiha. At the same time, he renewed the Ukrainian willingness to a 30-day full ceasefire that could clear the way for peace negotiations.

The information from the warring parties cannot be checked directly from an independent side. Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian attack war for more than three years.
