The tensions between India and Pakistan continue to rock up. The Indian Ministry of Defense had spoken of Punjmir on Thursday evening (local time) of Pakistani missile and drone attacks on the Indian controlled part of Kashmir and a military station near the border in the Indian state of Punjab. The threats were therefore neutralized, and there were no injuries.

Pakistan denies allegations

The trigger of the recent escalation between the two nuclear powers is a terrorist attack of April 22nd in the Indian Union territory Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people – mostly Indian tourists – were killed. Media reports: Loud explosions

Indian media reported that in Jammu and Kashmir, loud explosions had triggered panic among the population on Thursday evening. There were air -raid shell alarm. The newspaper “India Today” reported that a drone had hit the city of Jammu’s airport, where there was an institution of the air forces. India activated his air defense.

India attacks Pakistan Aviation System

The night before, India had attacked its own information according to air defense systems in several locations in Pakistan. One of the systems in the city of Lahore was destroyed. With the fire, the military reacted to Pakistan’s attempt to hit military goals in the north and western India, including 15 cities, with drones and rockets. However, this could be thwarted. Internationally, concern is growing before further tightening the crisis on the Indian subcontinent. Germany and the other 26 EU countries called the rival nuclear powers of Pakistan and India for an immediate de-escalation.

According to the military, Indian attacks died on the Pakistani side, 57 were injured. In addition, by shooting the Indian drones last night by the falling debris, one person killed and five injured, including four soldiers.

The Indian government said that 16 civilians had died on the border through Pakistani artillery fire, including five children. According to the army, a soldier was also killed.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtschi continued mediation talks in Neu-Delhi after a visit to Pakistan: he met his Indian colleague Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, as Iranian state media reported. The visit was planned longer, said Araghtschi on his arrival. Therefore, there are also economic issues on the agenda. The origins of the now flaming conflict go back to the colonial era. In 1947 the British released the Indian subcontinent into independence and divided it. In addition to the predominantly Hindu India, the new state of Pakistan for Muslims emerged from the division. The violent division continues to feed a bitter rivalry to this day.
