Christian Lindner posts weird forest video and gets job suggestions

It has become silent about Christian Lindner. Since the big traffic light bang and Lindner’s farewell from politics, there has not been much heard of the former omnipresent FDP man. Now Lindner has posted something on Instagram for the first time since the baby-is-DA message a month ago. A kind of social media comeback video. Lindner goes to a casual walk in the forest – unfortunately without a stroller – and talks about how he is doing. The white shirt under the turtleneck jacket looks a bit, as the politician Lindner is still under the private man. The affected also talking to the camera and the detailed hand gestures tend to give the impression that it was an election commercial than a relaxed forest walk.

So that with nonchalance only works. But what does Lindner do now? “At the moment, of course, the family is in the foreground,” explains Lindner, “every day and also every night”. Professionally, he “enjoys a new freedom”. Because as much as he loved to do all the years, this always had a lot to do with external determination and “always working”.

Now he has a completely different feeling of personal freedom, explains Lindner, in order to then quote Plato’s cave temperature. There are the people in the cave who hold the shadows on the wall for the real world, although of course they take place outside. He now also feels a bit as if he had stepped in front of the cave (into the forest?). Now “many new exciting and surprising doors opened up”. However, he does not show through which these are.

Lindner now wants to ask himself a few questions in peace. “What do you want? What fascinates you? Who do you want to work with?” The only decision that he can currently announce is that he would again want to share and discuss his thoughts and opinions on social media, “not as a politician, but from my new role”.

In the more than 1400 comments under the video, numerous Lindner fans are happy about the forest message. “Nice to hear from you” and “We miss you”, it says in some articles. There is also no shortage of ideas that Lindner could do next of different serious ideas, which Lindner could do next. One invites Lindner to his real estate podcast, another suggests a career as a financial podist.

The proposals also include “open an advertising agency” or “Porsche board”. Among the job offers is a job as a sales employee, but even as a forester, someone who made a hunting license a few years ago can also imagine.
