In the intensified conflict between Pakistan and India, troops of both countries have again delivered nightly firefights on their heavily guarded border. The drone attacks could have been warded off, the army said on the X platform.
At the same time, the attacks were returned. Pakistan have been accused of multiple violations of the armistice. Islamabad did not comment on it at first.
At least one woman was killed by artillery shot and four other civilians in the Indian part of the Himalayan region of Kashmir were injured, the newspaper “The Indian Express” reported, citing representatives of the authorities. The number of civilian fatalities in India has increased to 17.

According to India, there had already been air strikes of the neighboring country on Thursday evening with drones and rockets in areas of the Union territory Jammu and Kashmir and in the state of Punjab near the border. The threats were therefore neutralized, and there were no injuries. Pakistan decidedly rejected India’s allegations. The information could initially not be checked independently.
