Donald Trump soon floats on cloud seven – in a new presidential pilot. The next Air Force One is said to be a royal gift. Literally.
What’s the name of? You don’t look at a gifted plane in the cockpit. Or something like that. Perhaps US President Donald Trump had this wisdom in mind when he took on a truly royal gift from the desert state of Qatar. As US media report, the Republican will soon travel around the world in a new dismissal pilot. The current two Air Force One would be replaced by a Boeing 747-8-a gift from the Qatarian ruling family. It would be probably the most expensive present of a foreign state to the United States of all time.
From an ethical point of view, the trained businessman apparently has no concerns with the gesture of around $ 400 million. The first longer trip abroad will start for the 78-year-old next Monday. First intermediate stop: Doha, capital of the heavy emirate. The gift is to be officially presented here.
Boeing massive in delay with new Air Force One
Trump is said to have personally visited the Jumbojet in Palm Beach (Florida) at the beginning of the year and then raved about a “flying palace”. Officially, it was said that the US President had examined the plane “to find out about the new hardware and technology”.
The two current Boeing 747-200 machines have been outdated and have been in use since 1990. Incidentally, they are as old as Trump’s private pilot, nickname “Trump Force One”.
Actually, the American manufacturer Boeing had delivered new presidential pilots and was supposed to convert two 747 jets into the next generation aircraft. Boeing was only massive. The delivery date for the new models was scheduled for 2022, but was postponed to 2027 at the earliest. Trump was “frustrated” of it and even asked his tight consultant Elon Musk to accelerate the process.
Gift for Donald Trump should be legally secured
As a Qatar civil servant explained to the US broadcaster “ABC News”, the machine was actually technically a gift from the Qatarian Ministry of Defense to the Pentagon. The US Department of Defense, in turn, would adopt the 13-year-old aircraft to its own security standard. In a good two years, the plane should be ready to take off, almost half -time for Trump’s second term.
Who has that stuff to the Trump fright?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
The still young MP with Puerto-Rican roots could use the headlessness of her party to get rid of her label as an eternal talent. At first glance, it is finally the ideal face for a democratic reorganization.
But at the veneration that AOC enjoys under progressive, there is a lack of the entire political residual spectrum. Also in your own party. The 35-year-old, who describes himself as a democratic socialist, is too extreme to most moderate Democrats. Their appearance is too aggressive, their views hardly majority capable. If she wants to be more than a popular marginal phenomenon, she wants to take the role of the reconciler, she has to take a precisely measured step towards the middle – just as far as to be taken seriously without stringing up her fan base. A feat.

Shortly before Trump (expected) excerpt from the White House, in January 2029, the aircraft is scheduled to go to the Foundation of the Trump President Library. According to Justice Minister Pam Bondi and Trump’s personal lawyer David Warrington, this is decisive so that the gift is legally permissible and not to be regarded as bribes, “ABC News” continues. After all, the donation does not go to Trump as a person and is not linked to a condition.
Presidential libraries are common – and no libraries in the actually sense. The buildings serve as historical, publicly accessible archives for storing objects and documents from the term of office of a US president. In December 2024, the broadcaster “ABC News” agreed to provide $ 15 million for the construction of the planned Trump library in order to enclose a defamation.
