The United States conveyed in the conflict between India and Pakistan. President Trump says he ended a “nuclear conflict” with the help of trade threats.
According to President Donald Trump, the US government has exerted pressure on the nuclear powers of India and Pakistan on the trade policy in order to move them into a ceasefire. “I think it could have been a bad nuclear war. Millions of people could have been killed. That’s why I’m very proud of it,” said Trump in the White House.
Trump said he explained both sides: “If you stop it, we’ll do a trade. If you don’t stop, we won’t trade,” said Trump.
The conflict between the two countries had recently worsened considerably, there were battles on the border and mutual air strikes. On Saturday, the agreement on a ceasefire was surprisingly announced. According to Trump, the USA had mediated.
