EU imposes sanctions against pro-Russian bloggers from Germany

The pro-Russian bloggers Alina Lipp and Tobias Röper are now on an EU sanction list. They want to undermine the democratic process in Germany.
In response to “destabilizing activities against the EU”, the European Union has issued sanctions against several organizations and people, including two Pro-Russian German bloggers. The German Tobias Röper and the German Russian Alina Lipp stand on the list with 21 names published on Tuesday in Brussels. Among the sanctioned organizations are the pro-Russian internet portal “Voice of Europe” based in the Czech Republic.
In the past, blogger Lipp had spread false information about the Ukraine War on her channel “News from Russia” in the Telegram online service. Her and Röper is accused of wanting to undermine the democratic process in Germany.
The business also the businessman and former Ukrainian politician Viktor Medwetschuk was also supported by the EU. He used his media companies to spread Russian propaganda in Ukraine and secretly financed “Voice of Europe” in order to “undermine the legitimacy and credibility of the Ukrainian government with the portal,” said in Brussels.
