The investigators suspect that Schleuser could have bribed officials in authorities in order to receive the desired residence permit for their foreign clients against six -digit amounts.

Last July, the investigators revealed that 16 suspects in the area of ​​local authorities were investigated. A total of 187 accused was investigated at the time.
