On Wednesday evening (local time), two employees of the embassy of Israel in Washington, a man and a woman, were shot near the Jewish Museum of the US capital. German-Israeli Society: grew up in Bavaria
The German-Israeli Society (DIG) in Berlin announced that the shot man was founding member of the youth forum of the sister organization of Israeli-German society. This networked young Israelis and Germans together. He grew up in parts in Bavaria and spoke fluently German, it said. In 2022 he took over a job at the Israeli embassy in Washington.
