Jette Nietzard provokes with a sweater and a cap on Instagram. The criticism is not long in coming. There is also sharp headwind from your own party.
The chairwoman of the Green Youth, Jette Nietzard, triggered violent discussions with a contribution to Instagram – there is also a headwind from our own party. Nietzard presented itself in an Instagram story with a cap with the inscription “Eat the Rich” (German: The Reich Essen) and a sweatshirt with the letters “ACAB”.
The slogan “Eat the Rich” is used in left, anti -capitalist circles and criticizes social inequality and the power of the rich. The acronym “ACAB” stands for “all cops are bastards” (German: all police officers are bastards) and is used in police -critical circles – including in the left to left -wing extremist milieu.
Nietzard asked the photo: “On the way to the Bundestag. What does Julia Klöckner find worse: ACAB Pulli – Eat the Rich Cap?”. She may have referred to a hall reference by the Bundestag Presidium in mid -May. The President of the Bundestag had asked the left-wing MP Marcel Bauer to stop his beret. Because he did not meet this, Bauer was later expelled by Parliamentary Vice President and head of meeting Andrea Lindholz (CSU) of the hall.
Leading Greens go at a distance
The domestic spokesman for the Greens parliamentary group, Marcel Emmerich, distanced himself from Nietzard. “Such provocative individual expressions do not reflect the position of our faction and the party,” Emmerich told the Editorial Network Germany (RND). “The police act daily with great responsibility and operational readiness for the fact that our security and freedom remain guaranteed – under extremely difficult conditions in a tense security situation with many security policy threats.” To do this, they earned respect and support and no general devaluation.
The deputy group leader of the Greens in the Bundestag, Konstantin von Notz wrote on X: “” All Cops Are Bastards “is a completely underground, unacceptable and insulting take for all police officers who – often moderately paid – are committed every day for our rule of law, our security and freedom.”
Party leader Franziska Brantner shared the contribution on her profile. A spokesman for the Federal Executive Board of the Greens said the “Bild”: “Obviously, this has nothing to do with green politics, our program is known.”
Bundestag Vice President Lindholz turned to the green youth on X. That is not possible, she wrote about the statement about the police. “Because they provide 24/7 for 365 days for our security.” To appear in the Bundestag testifies to double “no respect”. AfD MP Kay Gottschalk asked X whether the process was a case for the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
Kopelke considers posting to be pathetic
The federal chairman of the police union, Jochen Kopelke, called Nietzard’s posting in the “Bild” quite miserable “. “With this pubescent police hatred and improper statements, the green youth obviously wants to generate clicks.”
Instagram stories are usually only visible for 24 hours. However, the frequently criticized image is still shared on social media. In the meantime, the hashtag #jette trated in Germany.
Nietzard was already teased with contributions on social media in the past. At the beginning of the year, she apologized for a contribution to violence by men against women in whom she wrote, men who losing their hand during the böllern could at least no more women.
