Ukraine sends delegation to talks with Russia in Istanbul
Peace negotiations are stalling between Ukraine and Russia. Now new discussions are to take place in Istanbul – and Selenskyj sends a delegation.
The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj confirmed the participation of his country in direct negotiations with Russia in Istanbul. The Ukrainian delegation will be headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umjerow on Monday, Selenskyj wrote on the X.
“I presented the positions (Ukraine) before the meeting on Monday in Istanbul,” writes Selenskyj on Telegram.
