According to the latest forecasts, Karol Nawrocki is in the lead in the presidential election in Poland. However, his lead over the liberal rival Rafal Trzaskowski is very scarce.

In the run -off election around the Polish presidency, the right -wing conservative candidate Karol Nawrocki lies after recent forecasts in front of his liberal rival Rafal Trzaskowski. According to the figures from the IPSOS Polling Research Institute, 51 percent of the vote accounted for Nawrocki, Trzaskowski came to 49 percent. The turnout was 71.7 percent.

Elections in Poland become head-to-head races

In view of the narrow advantage and statistical fault tolerance, the election result is still open. A victory of the Proeuropean Trzaskowski is still conceivable. The forecasts are based on the basis of post -selection surveys in 500 polling stations and partial counts of 450 of the polling stations. According to the IPSOS, the fault tolerance is 0.5 percentage points.
