Demonstrators in Israel are calling for the end of the Gaza War

The Hamas and other extremists still hold many living and dead hostages in the Gaza Strip. Again, demonstrators are calling for their return and an end to war in Israel.

In the evening, thousands of people protested against the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in several cities of Israel and demanded the release of the hostages in Gaza from the violence of Islamist terrorists. According to the “Times of Israel”, the daughter of a killed hostage accused the government at a rally in Tel Aviv of the war that has been going on for 20 months in the sealed coastal strip at the expense of the kidnapped. According to reports, security forces were violently against anti-war demonstrators on the side.

Shortly before, the Israeli military had announced the rescue of the body of a Thai hostage in the Gaza Strip. The man’s remains of the man were found in a special use at Rafah in the south of Gazas. The Thai was therefore deported to Gaza in the terrorist attack of Hamas and other terrorist groups on October 7, 2023 in Israel. During his hostage, he was killed by members of the Mujahedin brigades.

The terrorist attack in Israel, in which, according to Israeli information, around 1,200 people were killed and about 250 people were dragged to Gaza, was the trigger of the war. There are still many hostages in the coastal strip. The government of the relatives called on the government of Prime Minister Netanyahu to “do everything necessary to reach an agreement that brings all 55 remaining hostages back”. According to previous Israeli information, at least 20 are said to live among them.
