Mayor Bass imposed an outcome lock to relax the situation in Los Angeles. The measure remains in force. There are now protests across the country.
The nightly lock for a small area in the center of Los Angeles should apply at least one more night in view of the persistent demonstrations. The police from Los Angeles said again from Wednesday evening 8:00 p.m. to Thursday morning 6 a.m. (local time).
The mayor of La, Karen Bass, had imposed the outcome lock on Tuesday and already promised that the regulation could apply for several days.
Persistent protests in Los Angeles
Also last night there was protests in Los Angeles against the migration policy of US President Donald Trump. But they remained largely peaceful. There were also demonstrated in other cities in the USA such as New York or Philadelphia. Dozens of people were arrested. Further protests will be planned in several cities in the United States in the coming days.
In Los Angeles, people have been demonstrating to Trump’s hard migration courses and offspring. The US government has therefore mobilized 4,000 soldiers from the National Guard and 700 marine fans of the regular armed forces for the deployment in Los Angeles-against the will of the governor of California, Gavin Newsom. The soldiers gradually arrive. According to the media, none of the naval fountains in the city center of LA can yet be seen.
