In the meantime, Israel’s Air Force bombies “military destinations” in the Iranian capital Tehran, including the Ministry of Department, according to Iranian information.

In the attack in the north of the metropolis with its approximately 15 million inhabitants, a military research institution was also hit, as reported by the Tasnim news agency, which was considered a mouthpiece of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. The revolutionary guards are the elite forces of the Islamic Republic.

In the northwest of Tehran, parts of an oil bearing also caught fire. The location was under control, reported the SNN portal. Eyewitnesses also reported violent explosions from other parts of the city. The Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz wrote on the online platform X: “Tehran burns”.

Iran had previously targeted a refinery in the Israeli port city of Haifa, according to the state news agency IRNA. The Israeli news page “Ynet” reported that residents in northern Israel had heard loud explosions. As a result of the Iranian wave of attack, several injuries were brought to hospitals, the emergency services reported David Adom. There was an impact near a multi -storey house.

Israel also flies attacks against Huthi militia in Yemen

Meanwhile, there were also loud explosions in Jemen’s capital Sanaa. Eyewitnesses in the big city controlled by the Iran-allied Huthi militia told the German Press Agency of explosion noises. The Arab news channel Al-Arabija, citing unspecified sources from Yemen, reported that a presumably Israeli attack could have met a meeting of high-ranking Huthi officials.

Israel tried to kill Huthi’s highest military commander in an air raid in Yemen, Barak Ravid, a correspondent on the US message page “Axios”, on the platform X. Neither the Huthi nor the Israeli military commented. The Huthi militia in Yemen, like the Hisbollah in Lebanon and Islamist Hamas in the Gaza Strip to Iran’s “axis of resistance” against Israel.

Israel has been attacking goals in Iran since the night of Friday – including nuclear facilities, leading military, nuclear scientists, defense positions, cities and reports. The Islamic Republic sees the air attacks as a declaration of war and fired hundreds of rockets and drones on Israel.
