Israel and Iran continue to attack each other. The Israeli military claims control over the airspace over Tehran. But at the same time Iran Israel is sensitive.
Israel reacted to the fatal Iranian air strikes with massive attacks on the rocket systems of the Islamic Republic. According to its own statements, the military destroyed more than 120 Iranian launch ramps-a total of a third of the ramps for floor-floor missiles in Iran are affected. Raket camps and facilities for rocket production were also hit.
Israel also claims that control over the airspace over the Iranian capital has achieved – which would enable undisturbed approach. Army speaker Effie Defrin said: “You can now say that we have reached full air superiority in heaven over Tehran.” Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the Iranian rocket program – after the nuclear program – as an existential threat to his country.
However, the danger that is from Iran for Israel is not banned. In new rocket attacks on Israeli cities, Iran overcame the defense systems, including the Iron Dome (iron dome). According to paramedics, 8 people were killed on Monday night and 92 injured. There were four impacts in the Tel Aviv area.
Among other things, the EU countries Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic announced that they wanted to bring their citizens from Israel to safety.
Israel threatens civilians in Tehran
As a result of the attacks, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened the residents of Tehran – i.e. civilians – with retaliation. “The great -mouthed dictator from Tehran has become a cowardly murderer who specifically shoots the Israeli civilian population in order to deter the Israeli army from the continuation of the offensive that brings its skills into collapse,” wrote Katz on X. “The residents of Tehrans will soon pay for the price.”
A few hours later, Katz put his statements into perspective with another explanation: “I would like to clarify the obvious: there is no intention to inflict physical damage to the population of Tehran’s population – as the murderous dictator does in dealing with the Israeli population.”
According to the government, the number of people killed in attacks in Israel since Friday in attacks in Israel has been violated since then. According to official information, at least 224 people have been killed in Iran since the beginning of the major Israeli offensive. Almost 1,300 people were injured, a representative of the Iranian Ministry of Health said to X.
Nuclear guardian Grossi penetrates a diplomatic solution
Israel had started massive attacks on destinations in the Islamic Republic on Friday night – including nuclear facilities, defense positions, destinations in cities and also oil and natural gas fields. Leading military and nuclear scientists were also specifically killed. According to the attacks, Israel wants to prevent Iran from building an atomic bomb. The leadership in Tehran, on the other hand, emphasizes that the nuclear program only serves civil purposes.
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, warned that military escalation delayed “the essential work on a diplomatic solution to ensure that Iran does not acquire any nuclear weapons in the long term.”
Israel meets command centers of important military unit
The Israeli Air Force also attacked the command centers of the Al-Kuds brigades of the Iranian revolutionary guards in Tehran. There, terrorist attacks against the state of Israel were planned with the help of the Iranian leadership deputies in the Middle East. The al-Kuds brigades are the abroad of Iran’s elite trends, the official task of which is to carry out hidden operations abroad.
The ongoing attacks on Iran triggered escape movements in Tehran. Eyewitnesses reported clogged highways in the metropolis with more than 15 million inhabitants. At the petrol stations, kilometers of snakes were formed, petrol was in short supply.
Banks, bazaars, pharmacies and supermarkets remained closed. Many security forces were traveling in central places. There was some ghostly silence on the streets.
Putin as an intermediary? Conceivable for Trump
Meanwhile, US President Trump has shown himself to be open to the idea that Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin could act as an intermediary in the war. “I would be open to it,” Trump told ABC’s television station. Putin called him because of that. Russia’s president, who had ordered the attack on Ukraine three and a half years ago, offered himself as an intermediary in the conflict between Israel and Iran on Saturday. Russia maintains close relationships with Iran. From there, the country moved into mass drones for its war of attack against Ukraine.
Federal Foreign Minister Johann WadePhul (CDU) does not expect the United States to intervene in the war between Israel and Iran. In an interview by Deutschlandfunk, he pointed out that Washington excluded this in the first statement by Foreign Minister Marco Rubio. “This is very clear in all explanations, even in all actions. I do not have the slightest indication that the United States has an interest in participating.”
The United States maintains a number of military bases with tens of thousands of soldiers in the region. According to unconfirmed media reports, the USA Israel already supports the defense against Iranian rockets.
