How the SPD manifesto was lost behind Hamm

Fried – the view from Berlin
How the Peace Manifesto from the SPD got on the false track

“The manifesto from the SPD needs to consider. This should actually be done in this column. Until it was lost between Hamm and Herford.”

This column was created during a train ride. It deals with Rolf Mützenich, Ralf Stegner and her manifesto on foreign policy. I could have written on the train after this trip, but that’s too cheap for me. Everyone mows across the train, I don’t have to participate. It stayed with Mützenich, Stegner and the SPD. Remember that.

Writing the column should begin after departure in Berlin, but delayed the train due to late provision. That always sounds funny, Geradeso as if the train has nothing to do with the provision, but can be delivered by the mail, maybe or from the post or from the pizza service.

The SPD manifesto was there, but no internet

For the column over Mützenich, Stegner and so on, I initially wanted to research on the Internet, but had only weak WiFi on the train, in Wolfsburg for more than 20 minutes delay in Hannover 30, and the internet was getting slower. For operational reasons that I forgot forgot, the train did not stop in Bielefeld, but in Soest, but unplanned. The doors had to stay closed because the platform was too short there. When the train started again, he was late.

It is not easy to concentrate on Mützenich, the Dingsda and what you have written, when worry is gradually growing that you will not come on an appointment in Duisburg on time, and a neighboring passenger will have a phone calls about Melanie, which is no longer easy in his company, but is constantly interrupted because of poor reception and moaning: “I get the crisis every time.” So the neighboring passenger, Melanie already has one.

Opinion
We have to upgrade – but arguments about it must be allowed

Completely surprisingly, everything went smoothly in Hamm. In Hamm, do you understand? Otherwise there is always something wrong, because trains are dismissed and coupled, drive forward and drive out backwards, which often leads to a big mess. The word from the hub must have been created in Hamm. But this time: no problem.

In this relaxed atmosphere I wanted to continue the column over Mützenich and Sie-Kissen-Schon when the onward journey to Dortmund was suddenly stopped due to a soft disorder and my flow of thought too. I reached Duisburg with an hour and 40 minutes late, but without a column.

Strengths for manifesto? No food in the restaurant

The return trip started on time, the onward journey in Dortmund, and then we stood in front of Hamm, exactly: the Hamm! Because the train to be connected was 20 minutes delay and had to be clarified whether we were allowed to go to the train station. We were not allowed. After Hamm, which we left with a delay of 40 minutes, I went to the dining car to fortify myself for the column over the SPD, but there was no water, which is why “for hygienic reasons” no food could be heated. The thought grazed me that the authors of the manifesto in this dining car would have been spared a lot because they couldn’t have warmed up their something old -fashioned foreign policy ideas here.

In Bielefeld the train kept this time, but only because a night construction site had been set up in front of Herford. Instead of 9:36 p.m. we continued at 11:11 p.m. Then I wrote the column, as promised, not on the train, but about Mützenich, Stegner and the manifesto. You just can’t read it yet. The reason is a late provision of the text. We thank you for your understanding.
