Israel’s army reports killing of Iran’s highest military commander
Israel’s military announces the death of an important commander of the Iranian revolutionary guards. Major General Ali Schadmani was killed in an air raid on Tuesday night, the military said. At first there is no confirmation from Iran. Israel’s army describes him as “highest military commander”.
Schadmani was the successor to Gholam-Ali Raschid, who was killed in an Israeli attack on Friday at the beginning of the war. They were commanders from the central headquarters Chatam al-Anbija. The headquarters are one of the mighty revolutionary guards and is a subdivision of the general staff, responsible for the planning and coordination of operations of various military units.
