In the war between Israel and Iran, the mutual attacks continue. Israel’s Defense Minister Katz threatens the Iranian head of state. He could “no longer exist”.
Israel’s Minister of Defense Israel Katz is targeting Iran’s senior guide Ajatollah Ali Chamenei. “A dictator like Chameni, who is at the head of a state like Iran, and the destruction of the state of Israel, committed to the flag, that this terrible goal of the destruction of Israel can no longer exist,” he said in the city of Cholon.
Chamenei is the “modern Hitler,” said Katz. If the Israeli army had already existed at the time, Hitler would have been killed in his bunker during the Second World War. Katz added that Chamenei had great ideological influence.
Again violent mutual attacks of Israel and Iran
Meanwhile, Israel and Iran continue their mutual violent attacks. According to official information, a hospital in the south of the country was first met in Israel. A rocket was hit into the Soroka Clinic in the desert town of Beerscheva. According to the hospital, some people were slightly injured, and considerable damage to property was caused. The Israeli military had previously attacked a heavy water reactor in Iran.
According to the state news agency Tasnim, Iran denied that it had attacked a hospital. It was targeted attacks on military and intelligence agencies. The goals were found next to the hospital. As a result, the hospital was hit by the pressure wave. There was no damage there. However, this claim was in clear contradiction to television pictures from Israel.
Rescue service has at least 89 injuries
In other places of Israel, for example in the Tel Aviv area, there were several impacts at the Salve of more than 20 rockets. According to the emergency services, at least 89 people were injured. Three were recovered seriously injured from rubble. In the Tel Aviv area, high -rise buildings were damaged by the impacts.
The Israeli Minister of Health Uriel Buso described the attack on the Soroka Clinic as a “terrorist attack that has exceeded a red line”. It is “a war crime by the Iranian regime that was deliberately committed against innocent civilians and medical staff who are devoted to life rescue”. According to the clinic, the Schiba Hospital at Tel Aviv was also hit by a falling section of the rocket and slightly damaged.
Israel’s Air Force previously attacked goals in Iran
Previously, Israel had attacked the heavy water reactor near the Westiranian city of Arak – a nuclear system that has been designed as a research reactor and was controversial for a long time because of its potential for the production of producing plutonium. In the 2015 Vienna Nuclear Agreement, Iran committed itself not to put the reactor into operation as planned.
In January 2016, Iran made the reactor core unusable by filling it with concrete. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that the system was inactive and did not contain any foldable material. According to the current Israeli air raid, the IAEA also announced that no radioactive material was released and there was no risk of radiation.
An Israeli military spokesman said that the population had been warned of the attack in Persian. The army had called up all people in Arak and Chandab via the platform X to get to safety. The warnings may not have reached the warnings in Iran because of an almost complete internet lock.
Israel wants to prevent the development of nuclear weapons in Iran
Israel had started a major attack on Iran on Friday. Since then, the Israeli armed forces have repeatedly attacked goals in the Islamic Republic, while the Iranian armed forces in turn fire rockets to the nuclear power of Israel. According to Israeli representation, the most important goal of the war is to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. The Iranian leadership, on the other hand, has been denying the construction of nuclear weapons for years – and insists on the right to use nuclear power for peaceful purposes.
European foreign ministers want to negotiate with Iran
Meanwhile, Federal Foreign Minister Johann WadePhul and his colleagues from France and Great Britain diplomatically try to make a de -escalation. Together they want to meet the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtschi for a conversation in Geneva this Friday, as the German Press Agency learned from diplomatic circles in Berlin.
With his French colleague Jean-Noël Barrot, the British Foreign Minister David Lammy and the EU foreign representative Kaja Kallas, he had recently had a negotiating offer, said Wadephul at a meeting with the Jordan chief diplomat Aiman al-Safadi in Berlin. One would continue to be ready to negotiate a solution. To do this, Iran urgently has to move and “take trust -building and verifiable measures, for example by making leadership in Tehran credible that it does not strive for any nuclear weapons”. WadePhul’s message: “It is never too late to get to the negotiating table if you get honestly.”
British Foreign Minister Lammy already wanted to meet his US colleague Marco Rubio today. Both also want to advise on the war between Israel and Iran, as the British news agency PA reported.
